Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before we build together — process, pricing, ownership, and what happens after launch.

Getting started

What do you actually build?

TopGuy provides websites, mobile apps for iOS and Android, and AI automations. We handle design, development, integrations, and launch, with a clear process from the first conversation to delivery.

How quickly can you launch my first version?

A landing page ships in about a week. Business websites take 2–4 weeks. A full app or SaaS MVP typically takes 4–8 weeks depending on scope — you get a concrete timeline in the fixed quote before we start.

What happens after I reach out?

You get a reply within 24 hours. We hop on a free 20-minute call, define the scope together, and you receive a fixed quote with milestones. Nothing starts until you approve it.

Can I see your past work before committing?

Yes — check the showcase page. Everything listed there is running today, from an app on the App Store to a dental clinic’s booking site.

I already started building — is it too late to bring you in?

Not at all. Taking over an existing Flutter, Next.js or WordPress codebase is common. I start with a short audit of what exists, then we decide whether to keep, refactor, or rebuild parts of it.

How I work

What is the process from idea to launch?

Five steps: discovery call → UI/UX wireframe → build in weekly sprints with previews you can click → polish & testing on real devices → launch (App Store, Play Store, or hosting). You see progress every week, not just at the end.

Do you work fixed-price or hourly?

Fixed-price per milestone for most projects — the quote you approve is the price you pay. For open-ended or evolving work, a monthly retainer is possible.

Do you handle design too, or only code?

Both. Wireframes and clean UI are part of every project; if you have your own brand or designer, I build to their specs.

How involved do I need to be?

About 30 minutes a week: a short review of progress and quick decisions on direction. Everything else is handled for you.

Pricing & payments

What do I get for my money?

The full build — design, development, testing, store/deployment, and post-launch support included in your tier. No per-feature surprise invoices; the quote is fixed.

Is it one-time or recurring?

Project pricing is one-time. Optional care plans for updates and new features are monthly, cancel anytime.

What are the payment terms?

Typically 40% to start, 40% at the mid-milestone, 20% at delivery. Bank transfer or Wise, invoice for every payment.

Who owns the code and design?

You do, 100%, from final payment. Repos and accounts are transferred to you; there is no lock-in.

After launch

What if something breaks after launch?

Every tier includes a support window (1–8 weeks). Bugs caused by the build are fixed free, forever. After the window, a care plan covers ongoing maintenance if you want it.

Can you add features later?

Yes — most clients do. New features are quoted individually based on the existing codebase, usually shipped within the same weekly sprint rhythm.

Do you handle app store updates and rejections?

Yes. Store submissions, review feedback, metadata, and screenshots are handled for you on both the App Store and Google Play.

Will my project be maintained a year from now?

I have shipped and maintained client products for years — long-term relationships are the norm, not the exception.
