About the project

Where it started. Most screen-time apps rely on willpower and shame, and people quit within a week. DopaMind takes a neuroscience-inspired approach instead: start from where you actually are and let small daily reductions compound into a habit that lasts.

What it does today. Pick the apps that pull you in, set a realistic starting limit, and DopaMind lowers it automatically day by day. When the limit is hit, distracting apps are blocked on the spot — with charts, streaks, focus sessions and tier-based milestones keeping the momentum going. Ad-free, with a premium unlock via in-app purchase.

Stack notes. A native Swift and SwiftUI build on Apple’s Screen Time APIs — FamilyControls, DeviceActivity and ManagedSettings — for real system-level blocking rather than a self-report habit tracker, with StoreKit 2 powering the premium tier.
