About the project
The problem to solve. The waiter shouldn’t be the bottleneck between a hungry guest and the kitchen. This platform turns every table into a self-service ordering point — while keeping staff fully in the loop in real time.
What shipped. Guests scan the QR code on their table, browse a live multilingual menu, and order and pay on the spot. The kitchen display and staff devices get realtime alerts for every new order and modification, guests get notified when food is on the way, and automations handle the busywork — end-of-day reports, low-stock alerts and staff routing.
Under the hood. A React front end with a Node.js realtime backend — WebSockets for instant alerts, an automation layer for reports and notifications, and integrated payments. Built multi-tenant so each restaurant manages its own menu, tables and staff. (Private client project — live demo available on request.)
